How to find us
- If you are approaching from the Snaresbrook end of Wanstead, pass under the railway bridge at Snaresbrook Station and at the cross roads with traffic lights TURN LEFT INTO HERMON HILL. (Go to Green section then Black Section.)
- If you are approaching from Wanstead Station end of the High Street, come along Wanstead High Street until you come to a cross roads with traffic lights. Turn RIGHT into HERMON HILL and follow directions below. (Go to Green Section then Black Section.)
- If you are approaching from Charlie Browns Roundabout, go up Chigwell Row which will lead automatically into Hermon Hill. You will pass the old Wanstead hospital on you left which is now apartments, the first road on the left after this is Nelson Road. Turn left into Nelson Road and follow the directions in Black Section.
- Continue along Hermon Hill, approx 300 metres, until you get to the next set of lights. Immediately after the lights turn RIGHT into Nelson Road. (A high wall borders this road on the left.)
- From Nelson Road, take the 3rd EXIT on RIGHT into NIGHTINGALE LANE. The Duke of Edinburgh Pub is on the left corner.
- Follow the road for approx 200 metres until you get to ELMCROFT AVENUE on your LEFT.
- Turn into ELMCROFT AVENUE and continue to the very end. Wanstead Youth Centre is on the left.
- We are no longer allowed to park in the car park of the youth centre, but it is free and not restricted to park on the road outside the centre and there is a short path leading to the front doors of the centre from the pavement. In certain circumstances, we can get special passes i.e. If you have lots to carry – or perhaps pregnant, while having to carry in your twins/multiples.
