Nealy New Sale

Twice a year the Club holds a Nearly New Sale as a means for anyone - members and non-members - to sell and buy  nearly new baby and childrens' items including clothes, toys, equipment, pushchairs, linen, books, videos, shoes, to name but a few.

As alot of our sellers are parents of multiples there is an abundance of items and we are renound for having good quality products all in great condition.  However, we welcome all sellers and shoppers to join us in this event and all we ask is that as a seller, the items are clean and in good working order. For the shoppers, you bring plenty of cash cos' you can certainly 'bag a bargain'!

For new and ante-natal parents (not just of multiples), it is also a great time to come and meet us, ask advice on things that may be required (with no obligation to buy) and generally get a feel for the different types of things required. For the serious shopper, make a list of things you are looking for (no guarantees tho') and come early! If you want something specific then you are advised to queue before doors open to ensure you get first pickings.

Our Nearly New Sale is not a table top sale. You are not required to stay and sell your items, we will do that for you. We display items in relevant sections and with the clothes we separate them into to age ranges as well.

In addition to the sale, we offer a refreshments area where you can buy tea, coffee, squash, cakes and biscuits.

Sellers Hints and Tips

All sellers must register in advance to be able to sell at the sale.
The FTTC will provide all sellers with specific labels and a sellers ID
A £2.00 non-refundable Registration Fee is charged to cover labels, admin and postage. Additional fees for extra labels may apply if posted at another time.
Below are a few hints for sellers, however for more info and to register, please email Kerry at  info@fttc.org.uk leaving your name, address and telephone number and she will contact you.
  • Label each item clearly with your Seller ID, description of item, age range and price.
  • Labels must be secure but easily removed.  NO STICKY LABELS
  • Prices should be similar to charity shops, in mulitples of 10p, apart from pushchairs which need to be priced accordingly and advice can be given
  • Clothing must be on a hanger if it requires hanging up and only 30 items per seller.  A Good Tip is to bundle items together, say a group of 3 sleep suits or T-shirts. Or a top and bottoms to create an outfit. You can sell more items.
  • Bedding must be in a clear plastic bag and CLEAN.
  • Toys must be complete (or stated otherwise), in good, safe working order
  • All items should be clean and NO JUMBLE PLEASE.
  • Unsold items must be removed from the sale room after12.30pm. Any uncollected items will be given to a charity shop within a week of the sale.
  • The Forest Twins and Triplets Club take 25% commission on all items sold (20% for Club members). The fee will be deducted prior to sale money being paid to the seller. We aim to pay Sale money within a 10 days of the sale.
