If you are approaching from the Snaresbrook end of Wanstead, come up the High Street 
passing Wanstead Church School on your right. 
The next road on your right is Wanstead Place (it has Kylies Kitchen on the corner and with 
Barclays Bank and Nat West Bank on the opposite side of the road)


If you are approaching from the Wanstead Station end of Wanstead, then follow the High Street along,
 passing Wanstead Green on the left which is a park area and Sommerfield on your right.
You can see the Church from here. Continue along the High Road until you see Kylies Kitchen on your left
 - a small cafe on the corner of Wanstead Place.


Turn into Wanstead Place and a short way up this road, on the left you will see Christ Church. 
Turn between the two posts and park in the Church yard. This is free.  
Please park unselfishly to allow as many people to park however respect the no parking signs that the 
church have put up and drive slowly to avoid damage to the surface of the Church driveway and 
of course to be safe with children around.


If you can see the map, the Church is on the recreation ground (REC GRD) which also includes a 
playground and grassy areas.


Please note: There is a parking restriction in Wanstead between 9.30am and 10.30 am where 
you can not park anywhere other than non yellow lines and the pay and display car park. 
Outside of these hours you can park on all yellow lines
(not double however) for free.
